Y. S. S coaches, possessing the highest levels of education and accredited licensure from professional soccer coaching organizations including USSF, and NSCAA as well as having collegiate and international coaching and playing experiences.
Coach K grew up in West Africa Ghana. Shortly after moving the United States, He continued his soccer career at Bartlett high school. His desire to play college soccer led him to Limestone College in South Carolina, A division II program where he played varsity soccer for 4 years while earning a degree in Sports Management/Physical Education.
While at Limestone the men’s soccer team was NCAA Sweet Sixteen Participant, Regional Finalists, CVAC Tournament Champions and the team was ranked 8th in the national and 19th overall at the end of the 2006 season.
Coach K has experience playing at several different levels, he is a Former Ghanaian National Team Player, He also spend some time playing semi-pro in the UK, Canada and in the United States. He served as the Men’s Assistant Coach at Worcester State University for 3 years, he currently coaches/trains varies clubs in New England.
Coach K’s experience, knowledge and contacts have helped numerous players achieve their dream of playing collegiate soccer. Coach K currently holds a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, NSCAA National Diploma, NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma and a USSF License.
Coach Kwabena Apeagyei was born in West Africa Ghana, and moved to the United States at a very young age to pursue a better education. His love for soccer led him to two central Mass All Stars and one Central Mass All State. His compassion and leadership for the game awarded him with team captain during his high school career. He attended Worcester State University where he played for one year before realizing that his talents lied else where other than playing the game itself.
Coach Kwabena started as an assistant for several years where he coached at Napoli Soccer Club, Fuller Hamlets Soccer Club, which led him to an opportunity to coach at Saint Peter Marian High School. After coaching several clubs in New England, Coach Kwabena found a home at Scorpions Soccer Club where he has been coaching for 5 years.
Coach Abby has been playing soccer since she was 3 years old. She competed competitively on club teams from 8 years old until graduating high school.
Abby played Varsity soccer her four years at Tantasqua Regional High School as a center midfielder. Along with starting every game of her high school career as a captain she was awarded many awards.
The four years Abby played on this team her team qualified for the playoff tournament each year to make soccer history at her high school. Abby is now in her 4th year at the University of Bridgeport playing Division II soccer on the Women's team. She's majoring in Health Science with a concentration in Exercise and Fitness
Samantha England grew up in Burrillville, Rhode Island, being introduced to soccer at a very young age. Sam played all through her childhood with her local recreational teams, but as her passion grew she decided to look elsewhere to enhance her soccer skills. She began her premiere soccer career at age 12, and since then has played for various teams in Massachusetts.
As for her local career, she was selected by the Rhode Island Coaches Association as an All State played two years in a row. In addition, she was elected to be a part of the Rhode Island All Academic Girl's Soccer Team. She was named captain of her high school team, as well as MVP for her senior season, in which she lead her team to the State Championship Game.
Samantha is now in her 4th year at the University of Delaware.
Coach Sam has been playing soccer since she was 6 years old. She has played for varies clubs in New England.
She currently attends Shepherd Hill Regional High School.
